Night Creatures

Juliana McGovern life has been plagued with horrible, erotic nightmares. When she moves back home, her dreams only intensify with monsters asking her to join them. If that was not enough, the love of her life, Max, is now showing up in her dreams.

Max Parker is a man with a couple of deadly secrets. Standing by Juliana’s side each night, he is desperately trying to protect her. Unfortunately, that task is getting more difficult each night. It will only be a matter of time before he will not be strong enough.

When Juliana awakens to find that she has been sleepwalking again, she is even more startled to run straight into Max. When Max urges her to return to his home to compose and warm herself from the cold weather outside, she only wants to crawl back into bed and cry. She is frightened and confused. Max is upset to see her so disturbed by the nightmares and vows to save her at all cost. Unfortunately, it could cost him everything. Can Juliana trust Max when she learns of his secrets? Will Max be able to save Juliana from her monsters?

Elisa Adams has created a short story sure to keep readers on the edge of their seats. The beautifully described monsters will cause readers to hold their breath as does the wonderfully written passion that consumes Max and Juliana. Max is a man driven to protect Juliana from as many horrible secrets as he can, only to learn that he must tell her everything. Juliana is forced to face the monsters of her nightmares. This revelation is well told by the author. Will Max and Juliana be strong enough to do what they must?

Night Creatures is a great little story of passion in the midst of horror and nightmares. I was amazed at the strength of the characters in the time of struggles and the passion they felt for each other through it all. Elisa Adams has done a super job earning 4 Angels!
