Nights In White Satin

When Celine wakes in the morning from another vivid dream of her beloved Lion Tamer, she is saddened to realize it was only a dream. Coming to the realization that she will never have Peter, she decides she will accept Daniel’s marriage proposal. So, when a mystery man arrives at her office with urgent family news, she is instantly aware that marrying Daniel is not what she wants and will not follow through. Peter is sent after Celine to bring her back to her grandfather. It has been seven years since he has seen and touched Celine. He was not prepared for what he would see or feel when he walked into her office. Overwhelmed with a consuming need, he must convince her to come back: first for her family and then for him. He realizes in that moment that he must share his deepest and darkest secrets with her. Will she understand why he pulled away from her heart? Will he have an opportunity to love her again?

Adrianna Dane has created a delightful quick read that engulfs readers inside the broken hearts of two characters. The pain that Peter has endured in his past will cause readers to shed a tear to match the one that he wears. Celine is a woman left broken and betrayed by the one man that she wanted more than anything else. The physical connection between the two of them is sizzling. The emotional trust and understanding that they create is heartfelt and tender. Will Peter have Celine’s love or pity when she learns about his past? Can Celine forgive Peter for turning away all those years ago? Can there be anything between the two of them that even measures out to her dreams?

This book is a quick read, but well worth it. The story is written very well, immediately drawing the reader into both characters’ emotional fears. The tenderness displayed between Peter and Celine left me breathless. Nights In White Satin provides readers with a rewarding and touching love story under the Big Top. Adrianna Dane has done a great job at earning herself 4 Angels!
