Renee Peterson speeds pulses and warms hearts in this battlefield tale of danger, passion and love. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-developed this story was, considering its length of under thirty pages. You’ll be enchanted by the honorable man you’ll meet in Jake, even as you are charmed by the innocence and depth of spirit you encounter in Faith. Spoils of War is a short, sweet, and sexy read; it will take you right into the lives of these wonderful characters. While not overtly erotic, this piece has a sensuousness that is simple, yet effective. Renee Peterson's talent shimmers and shines in this lovely story.
