Final Chance - Tarot: Seven of Pentacles

Mathew only has a week to save his soul. In order to do so, he needs to woo Sophie. He loves her and knows that they can become one in body and soul. Until now, Mathew has been slowly courting her, but tonight’s the night he takes it to the next level. He needs to tell her tonight that he’s a vampire.

Frederick, a twelve inch high gnome, was hired by Mathew’s mother to act as his valet. Frederick cannot believe that Mathew would leave the house without his floor-length cape. How could he ever show himself at Gentleman’s Gentleman again? Then again, how can he get work again if Mathew finds his soulmate? Mathew’s mother has made it clear that unpleasant things happen to people who disappoint her.

With Frederick, his mother, and the fact that he’s a vampire all against him, can Mathew find love with Sophie and save his soul?

Final Chance was an extremely fun book to read. The unique beginning actually made me sit back and go huh, a gnome as a valet, a psychotic Mother Dearest and a non-stereotypical vampire? How in the world is this going to work out? Well, it did work out, and in a very fun way. I really enjoyed the different characters and how they interacted. I would like to see more of these vampires. I want to know what happens next!
