The Elementals: God of Fire

Pyros is an Elemental, one of the four Gods and Goddesses that rule the four elements. His domain is that of fire. When he finds himself fighting to keep the fire from overwhelming him, he is awed to suddenly feel the power of a woman. He is able to calm the flames with her help and keep Yellowstone from erupting, this time.

Allison is a vulcanologist hired by Yellowstone National Park to keep an eye on the many ebbs and flows of volcanic activity beneath the park. Thanks to her grandmother’s guidance, Allison is able to calm the fires that threaten to erupt, but this time, only with Pyros’ help. Can the two of them thwart Chaos’ plan to destroy the Earth? Who else would be pushing the flames to do what they shouldn’t?

Ok, I was told that this book sounded good and that I should look at it. Boy was I ever pleased when I followed my friend’s advice. The sheer imagination that Ms. Karland has is absolutely amazing. She ties together a new mythology and a relatively new science and brings you a phenomenal world. Not only do you get a great story, but you also get a fabulous romance (with a little steamy sex thrown in). I don’t think I’ll hear I Feel the Earth Move by Carole King in quite the same way anymore. I can only hope that there will be more in The Elementals series.
