Wizard Twins: When Wizards Rule
Marina, Keeper of the Land in Sentmar is to be courted by the Sashtain twins, Caise and Kai’el. Marina is not happy with this courting as she feels taken advantage of. Her belief that the twins only want her for her majick is making her feel that way. The twins believe she is their true mate thus they will do everything they can to assure their union.
When Wizards Rule is the second book in this series, the first one Ménage A Magick was very entertaining and this proves to be true for this book. Set in a medieval-like world, this story is action-packed to the max. Unlike many of the heroes that populate Ms. Leigh’s books, Caise and Kai’el are not overly alpha males. They use their seductive powers to rein in Marina. The sexual tension between Marina and the Twins is highly erotic. The twins torture her with desire as they invade her dreams. Frankly, Marina had no chance when the Twins put their mind to having her for their mate. It goes without saying the erotic tension fills this story from beginning to the end.
This reader felt you didn’t need to read Ménage A Magick to understand When Wizards Rule. The threesome from Ménage A Magick appears prominently throughout this story and for those who didn’t read the first story, this book and their appearances will definitely make you want to purchase it. The plot line is quite complex as Ms. Leigh weaves the various threads of it together. When Wizards Rule expands the world we first saw in Ménage A Magick to another level. Ms. Leigh has added a dragon, Garron, to the cast of characters and he is a delightful creature. She also sets up for the next installment in this series as the fate of some characters is left unanswered.
When Wizards Rule is an erotically charged fantasy with some very enjoyable characters. Ms. Leigh is once again on top of her game as she produces another winner in her expanding library of books.
