Idle Tuesday
Rae Anne Lewis has a dream of being a recognized television anchor, so, she takes an assignment that leads her to the newly opened ski resort Pine Trails where she meets co-owner Grant Spencer. They have a whirlwind courtship and get married at the resort. As time goes on Rae Ann discovers that Grant spends all his time and effort with the resort, so, she starts pulling away from him and spends her own time at the TV studio working on achieving her dream. She knows that she just needs to break one big story to make it. When, she receives a phone call from a girl claiming she has been raped, Rae Ann breaks the story amid controversy, and it blows-up in her face. So, she runs back home to her estranged husband.
The first night back home, Grant confesses to an affair which has Rae Ann doing what she does best… running away. She ends up in a new town where she falls in love with Kyle, the bartender who took care of her when she first arrived. Rae Ann soon learns that Grant has been killed and she is wanted for questioning over his death.
Kyle has secrets of his own and Rae Ann wonders if a new start and a new man in her life will help her or if she will just end up running again? Kyle is in love with Rae Ann and wants to help her put her life back in order so they can start building a new life together. Can Rae Ann and Kyle overcome their past to make a life together?
Idle Tuesday is a great suspense that has many twists and turns through the beautiful countryside of Wisconsin and Illinois. This story will show you every side of human nature from the down and dirty, to the wonder and excitement. I really enjoyed the way the author built up the relationships of each character. It made them feel so life-like that they seemed to jump right off the pages. The love story in this book was sweet, sexy and worth every minute.
