Unveiled Treasures

Rachel, a famous romance author, has moved into her family’s old cabin in the Arizona Mountains with her Great Dane, Brutus. She wanted to take a break from her writing and her life to just relax for a while but, as she’s checking out the abandoned cabin she gets a visit from the local sheriff, Todd Bradley. The sheriff informs her of the burglaries that have been taken place around the area that haven’t been solved yet and warns her to be careful. Rachel could feel the sparks between the two of them and hoped they didn’t run into each other often but, Todd had other ideas. Days later Rachel finds the stolen goods in her garage and calls the sheriff. When he arrives he finds out that a very valuable necklace, The Irish Star, wasn’t with the rest of the stolen Items. Sheriff Bradley wants to pursue a relationship with Rachel but, is concerned with all the evidence surrounding her. Should he put aside his worries for the sake of love or is she the Cat Canyon burglar?

Unveiled Treasures is a fascinating story of adventure and betrayal. The attraction between Rachel and Todd is apparent from the beginning and gets more sensuous throughout the entire book. Kayla Janz did a terrific job of making you feel the emotions of each character. I felt happy one minute and ready to cry along with them in the next. The force of emotions between Rachel and Todd, shimmers right off the pages!
