The only romance in Alyssa Stone’s life comes from the romance novels she reads. Having been hurt by love before, Alyssa is not ready to open her heart again. Drawn to Alyssa, Jude thinks he has finally found the woman he has been looking for. As Alyssa and he work to fix his book, Jude hopes that he can help Alyssa see that she is a treasure.

In the Mood is a charming book that explores the damage that past relationships can do. Ms. Fisher brings two complex characters that each must overcome the past in order to get the love they deserve. Jude and Alyssa are each willing to stretch themselves so that the other will be whole. As the couple overcomes their individual problems they are able to become stronger together.
