The Chance Of A Lifetime

Lacey Winslow is working very hard to rebuild her life. A nasty divorce has left her with a distrust of men, Chance Bodine in general. Chance seems intent on seducing her into a situation she is not ready for. Lacey would like nothing more than to have Chance in her bed, but she knows that when that happens Chance will take over her life. When she foils a burglary attempt, it is Chance to the rescue. The more she tries to resist Chance, the deeper Lacey finds herself. As much as Lacey wants to give into the emotions that Chance awakens she knows that she must be able to rely on herself.

Chance Bodine has waited long enough for Lacey Winslow. Chance decides it is time to take action and claim Lacey for his own. The fact that her ex-husband is determined to stay in her life does not sway Chance from his mission. When someone begins to threaten Lacey, Chance quickly steps in to protect Lacey. Lacey seems to resist all that Chance is doing for her and he cannot understand why. Lacey is the woman that Chance wants in his life and bed and he will do whatever it takes to get her and keep her there.

Maggie Casper’s The Chance Of A Lifetime will fascinate you from the beginning. What happens when an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object? Lacey has been hurt by love and is reluctant to allow it back into her life. Chance wants Lacey and is determined to have her. Ms. Casper has created two mesmerizing characters that the reader will not want to say goodbye to. Both Chance and Lacey come with their own set of problems but find that together they are much stronger than they are apart. The physical connection the two have is balanced by the emotional connection. Ms. Casper adds a bit of mystery, as they work to stop the person threatening Lacey. I enjoyed that both characters had very strong personalities and were open to change in order to have the love they wanted. Ms. Casper is a great talent and should not be missed.
