When Josie Wright attends her first yoga lesson, she realizes that yoga is harder than it looks. She also realizes that yoga instructors like Eric Stokes will definitely keep you coming back for more. But when she finally gets a chance to speak with him, all he seems to want is her matchmaking expertise. As president of Modern Matchmakers, Inc, Josie has worked for years to build up their reputation as well as their successful matches. She’s matched a lot of couples but has never felt the need to find her match, until Eric. Something about him gets her thinking that having someone exclusively might not be all bad.

Eric’s done just about everything he’s set out to do so far in his life, except when it comes to his marriage plans. He has six weeks to find his match so that he can be married by the age of 30, which is his own personal goal. With Josie’s help, he wants to find the perfect woman – petite, blond and of course, a virgin! But spending time with Josie makes think his list might be all wrong, because Josie really seems like she could be the woman for him…and she’s not petite or blond and she’s definitely not a virgin!

Like A Virgin is a funny look at modern romance. These two are attracted to each other and feel something special for each other but fight it for their own different reasons. I really enjoyed Eric, especially his fantasies about how he wants to workout with Josie! Although he was on the lookout for the perfect woman, his mental picture of her is slightly skewed. Because of a past relationship, he’s comes up with his virgin criteria. But once he meets Josie, things quickly change. As for Josie, she’s had so many wonderful matches at work that she’s afraid it will never be for her. The way she faces her insecurities is poignant and touching. Combine all that with some sizzling sexual encounters, and this is one story that will have you wishing for “happily ever after” for these two.
