Man Wanted

When Teresa met a man in the elevator she was so attracted to him she couldn’t think straight; which is why she never got his name or number. Ironically, Teresa can’t stop thinking of him, especially while hanging out in bars doing her job as a private investigator. While she waits for the woman she calls “Lady Slime” to slip up and give her enough evidence to get her arrested, she fantasizes about the gorgeous elevator man. Unbelievably, he shows up and is the next man Lady Slime tries to con. Will he fall for the beautiful woman or should Teresa intervene?

Travis McMahn is finally interested in a woman again. He’s been avoiding women ever since his fiancée called off the wedding two years ago; but this woman’s different. From the moment he smelled her scent in the elevator, he’s been attracted to her. When the opportunity arises at a local bar he introduces himself and does everything he can to spend time with her. Will he be able to trust and love another woman?

Man Wanted is a short, interesting story about two people who have issues with trust. Teresa and Travis are drawn to each other, but miss their first opportunity to meet. They both think about the lost chance to meet and go for it when they finally do I enjoyed the insight into their thoughts. Both are anxious about the other, as well as doubtful at first that their feelings are real They must learn to overcome their doubts and their natural inhibitions. Because of the job that Teresa must finish, their relationship moves at a very quick pace, but it doesn’t feel rushed…just intense. Ms. Bangs does a great job making these two realistic and likeable. I can’t wait for more!
